Picking up in Matthew 22:15-46, the religious leaders try to trap Jesus with their biggest questions — taxes to Caesar, the resurrection and the greatest commandment — until He asks the one that silences them: whose son is the Christ? Pastor John explains that we bear God's image and are not our own, warns against Scripture without power and power without Scripture, and shares his dream to mobilize churches to transform Levy County.

The King Has Come – Part 2

After observing the Lord's Supper, Pastor John turns to Matthew 21:23-46, where the religious leaders challenge Jesus' authority and He answers with the parables of the two sons and the wicked tenants. Tax collectors and prostitutes repented while the religious refused; surrender to the King is not a feeling but a decision — and His call is “Come,” now.

A new series begins as Jesus enters Jerusalem for the final week of His earthly mission — the crowds' hosannas, the cleansing of the temple and the withered fig tree. The question for the series: if the King has come, are we prepared for Him? We must be doers of His word, not hearers only.
